The special, rear-tilting stand base of the NexiusZoom stereomicroscopes for gemmological applications features a powerful 30W transmitted light illumination system, which enables perfect dark-field conditions. This is a decisive advantage for assessing inclusions, surface structures and the optical properties of gemstones. This is complemented by a 7W fluorescence reflected light illumination system, which delivers brilliant bright-field contrast.
